At the beginning of the year, I always make goals and I am picking a word this year. I am so excited for 2019 and what this year has in store. 2018 was a great year filled with lots of memories and the start of my fashion blog. I feel so blessed and thankful that you all have supported me along this journey. I always have to remind myself that goals are important to set, but also to be realistic when setting them.
One of my biggest goals this year is to spend more quality time with others and less time on my phone. Making sure I interact with others and make others feel valued. I am planning on going on more dates with my husband and more outings with friends. To help me accomplish this goal, I am trying to plan out my days more and plan out times to spend with others.
Another goal my husband and I both have is to travel more and share my travel journey with you all. We have already planned a cruise to Mexico in February and I am so excited to share with you all about our trip. We are also going to plan a couple short weekend trips this year.
My fitness goal this year is to workout four to five days a week and eat healthy most of the time. I want to focus on that more, but also not stress about it when it doesn’t happen this year as well. I believe that a healthy balanced life is the best one. My husband and I will be starting with yoga and weight lifting 2-3 times a week. We use the workouts from beachbody and find that works really well for our busy lives.
Some of my goals for my blog this year is to write more blogs consistently, give you all more skin care and beauty tips, grow my blog/update it, and to do more giveaways for you all. I can’t wait to share all the exciting things that will be coming to my blog this year.
My word for this year is: JOY
I kept thinking about what word I wanted to remind myself of this year and I believe that this one is the one I want to live by. To have joy in every circumstance. I have had a crazy past two years with a lot of health issues and ups and downs and it was hard to still have joy through it all. This year I want to be different and remember to stay positive and to keep that joy no matter where life takes me. I think if we can have true joy, the one found in Christ then we can share that with others. What is your word for this year? What are some of your goals?
Remember at the end of the day that God loves you and care for YOU, your unique self deeply and wants to see you be the best person you can be! Let’s start this new year with JOY and remind ourselves to be confident in our unique self. Hope you all have a great start to the New Year!
XOXO,
Autumn
