Favorite Spring Trends and Dresses

Spring is my favorite season and although it still feels like winter in PA, I love getting ready for spring.  I leave for FL on Tuesday and I am so excited for warm weather and sundresses. I love the feeling of being able to throw on a sundress and sandals and head out the door instead of putting five layers on. I know many of you all have wanted Spring Vacay outfit ideas as well so I am excited to share some of my favorite Spring trends, rompers, and dresses. I wear a variety of casual and dressy so I will share some ideas for both. The biggest trend coming back this spring/summer are florals. I have seen floral patterns on everything from swimsuits to dresses to rompers and tshirts. My favorite boutique to shop for springs floral rompers, dresses, and suits is Red Dress Boutique. I found this adorable yellow floral dress with tassels on the ties for under $50 for our trip to Mexico. I am wearing a size small in the dress and it does fit a little small, so I would size up. Also, how adorable is this black floral skirt from Francesca’s?! This skirt is the perfect length and fits true to size. It goes with so many tops and has the cutest floral pattern on it. Polka dots and pastels are coming back again this spring as well. I am a huge polka dot and pastel person. I think it adds such a nice feminine touch to any outfit. Maxi dresses and jumpsuits are in this spring. Although I am too short for most jumpsuits, I have noticed that the jumpsuits from Pink Lily Boutique fit shorter girls as well. Chambray is also another big trend this year. I have seen a lot of chambray tops, rompers, dresses, and shorts. American Eagle and Aerie have a lot of Chambray clothes this year. I found a cute romper while shopping in there the other day. The thing I love about Chambray is how soft and comfortable it is. I linked a couple options below.

 

If you’re looking for more of a casual look. Cropped jean shorts and plain tees are coming back again. American Eagle has a lot of great shorts in different colors and options. You always need shoes to complete the outfit, so I wanted to share some of my favorite sandals with you all along with the spring shoe trends.
