2020 Goals for a new year!

I can’t believe it’s already 2020! It’s crazy how fast time flies by! I’m so thankful for an incredible past year. I’ve been blessed in so many ways and can’t wait to see what this new year has in store! I’m so thankful for all of you who continue to support me here on my blog and on instagram. I wouldn’t be where I am without all of your support and I’m so grateful for that! This year I’m focusing a lot on my health, relationships, and job. I am narrowing it down to a few smaller goals in the different areas of my life. I will share some of these with ya’ll below.

I wouldn’t be where I am without all of your support and I’m so grateful for that! This year I’m focusing a lot on my health, relationships, and job. I am narrowing it down to a few smaller goals in the different areas of my life. I will share some of these with ya’ll below.

Health Goals

I have some health goals this year just to be healthy overall. I’m going to get back to my consistent healthy eating with only one cheat meal per week on the regular basis and cutting back a lot on my sugar. I realized after this year, I really need to be more controlled about my sugar intake and would love to be more disciplined in this area. I’m also going to get back to working out 4-5 times each week and going to challenge my body a little bit this year, but also take some time to rest it when I can.

Relational Goals

I have several relational goals this year. I want to spend more time getting to know my husband better and going on more adventures together. I also want to focus more on my friendships and building those friendships with others. Investing time and energy into my relationships more this year.

Spiritual Goals

I am making it a goal this year to spend consistent time in God’s word every morning before I start my day. I also want to make a point to use a journal to write the things down that I’m thankful and grateful for. I want to grow in my relationship with Christ this year and be able to share that with others.

Work/Job Goals

My goals this year for my vocal lessons is to learn some new vocal techniques, review some of my vocal pedagogy, and also introduce new songs and warm ups for my students. I also plan on asking my students more about their practice time and asking them to do a practice log for each week. I also want to make some more connections with local schools in the area so I can have more teaching opportunities. I also have a goal with VIPkid to get some more certifications for different levels and be able to teach more kids on a daily basis.

Instagram/Blog Goals

I have goals this year for my blog to write more on here and share more real life stories and authentic content with you all. I want to be more vulnerable and open with you all about the reality of life and share with you all about important events in our life this year. I also have a goal for instagram to be vulnerable and authentic on that platform. I also would love to work with more companies this year, do more giveaways for you all, and also grow in my following as well this year. I also want to meet more bloggers and be able meet more of you all as well on instagram.

I have several goals this year and can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store for me! My word this year is going to be persistence. I want to have persistence in everything I do and to follow through in everything. Most of all, I want to focus on others and loving others this year. I hope you all had a wonderful year and a happy new year!

XOXO,

Autumn
