It’s that time of year again! Christmas is right around the corner and it’s time to start getting gifts for our loved ones. I wanted to provide some really affordable options for you all.

Gifts for under $50:

My all time favorite bracelets are from Victoria Emerson and they make great gifts under $50. There are so many different options to choose from on their site and they always run a BOGO Free event before Christmas. I also think simple gifts like a cozy robe, blanket, or slippers are perfect. I also always love receiving sets of Gloves and Scarves together or fuzzy socks and blanket sets. I also included some jackets and sweaters that are under $50 that always make a nice gift too.

I hope you all have had a great weekend! I can’t believe how close we are to July 4th already. We had a fun weekend visiting Frederick, Md on Friday. We both have the day off so we usually take some time to go on a fun adventure together. I wanted to share with you all some of our favorite spots in Frederick and also some of my favorite summer accessories.

Frederick has a beautiful downtown with shops and restaurants. It also has a canal that runs right on the inside of the town. You can walk down there and grab a bite to eat or grab a favorite dessert at Cakes to Die For. We always make an effort to go there for a treat, they have amazing vegan/gluten free brownies. We are still trying out restaurants downtown, but a good place is Firestone’s. They make a lot of good food and can make anything gluten free there too. We also did a little bit of shopping for me at Francesca’s in Frederick. I will be sharing some of those looks in the next few weeks from there.

I love summertime and wearing sundresses as you all know! I wanted to share some of my favorite simple accessories that go with several different outfits.

Purses

One of my favorite trends this year is a straw crossbody bag. I love how you can wear it with jean shorts and a tank or with a maxi dress and heels. It’s so versatile for summer outfits. I shared my favorite one above from Amazon for $22 and a couple others I love.

I recently came across a white floral embroidered clutch at Francesca’s and I love it. It’s more of a dressier purse, but goes with any color. I got mine for $38 and linked it above.

Earrings

I am loving all the statement earrings this year. I have probably bought five pairs in different colors. My current favorite place to find statement earrings is at Target. I found my white tassel earrings from there and recently my turquoise tassel earrings as well. They have different earrings and colors to choose from. The brand is called sugarfix by Baublebar. Most of the earrings run around $13-$15.

Shoes

One of my favorite accessories is shoes. I am loving the espadrille wedges this year. I found a nude pair at J.Crew Factory on sale for $40. They normally run around $98, however J. Crew Factory normally runs a lot of sales and discounts. I found my black wedges at Charlotte Russe for $30. They normally have a lot of shoes at an affordable price.

I also love to find shoes that are comfortable and flat. My favorite place currently is Target. I found both my black sandals and my tan slides there for around $20. Both shoes run true to size and I linked both of them here for you.

I’d love to hear from you all what some of your favorite summer accessories are and what you are looking foreword to the most this summer! Hope you all had a great weekend!

XOXO,

Autumn

Best places to find cheap flights

I wrote about some of my favorite places to find cheap flights online and also details about my outfit.

Green Floral TopOff White Kimono,

Jeans,

Disclaimer: This is in no way an ad for any of these airlines, but personal opinion on which airlines I enjoy best. The links provided are public sites that take you to each airlines site if you choose to look.

I absolutely love traveling and love it when I find affordable flights. I just booked a flight to Florida at the end of September and I am literally counting down the days till I get to go. Florida is my second home and also where my family lives, so it has a special place in my heart. Plus, who doesn’t love the beach!

I wanted to share a couple of the sites I find cheap flights through and also a little about my travel experience. I will list them from my least favorite affordable airline to my favorite affordable airline.

#1 Frontier Airlines

My least favorite, but most affordable airline for flights to FL and east coast is Frontier Airlines. I recently booked through them, because I had received a travel voucher back in February. The pros for them, is if you belong to the discount den program you can get great deals like $20 one way. There non den member prices aren’t too bad either. The cons for them, some of their flight layovers and routes are strange. They sometimes route you to Denver to get you to your destination. Also, another con that I recently experienced is they can delay or cancel the flight due to the fact that their main hub is out west and temperatures etc. are not good during the winter. Back in February, my flight was canceled to FL, however they were really good at making sure I could get on another flight to get there later that day. If you live out west then this is definitely a great way to go for flights.

#2 Allegiant Airlines

Allegiant Airlines  is my second favorite for affordable airlines. They have decent prices on specific days of the week for their flights around $60-$100 one way ticket. They fly directly to FL from an airport that is only 30 minutes from us, however they only fly twice a week out of that airport so it makes scheduling difficult. They have several locations and destinations, especially in the east coast. Most of their flights are direct flights which I enjoy. The only complaint I have about their airline is they like to sometimes leave early which makes traveling stressful if you aren’t an early bird.

#3 Spirit Airlines

Spirit Airlines is my #1 favorite, although the closest airport to us is baltimore which makes for a long drive. They are very affordable, especially if you belong to their $9 fare club. They have several destinations including Cancun, Cabo, Jamaica and a couple other islands and out of country destinations. I have maybe ran into a flight delay with them once or twice before, but they are mostly on time. I can usually find round trip flights to FL for $60 and flights to Mexico for $300 round trip. So if you want an affordable airline, this would be my top pick.

My favorite way to look up flights and find the cheapest price is through google flights (Google Flights). They list the cheapest way first and you can pick any time of the year to look at. This is typically how I find the cheapest flights when looking for travel during the holidays or in a specific time range.

I linked my fun floral top from Francesca’s, kimono, and jeans from Banana Republic for you all. I am loving this floral top! How cute would it be for vacay with some shorts or a mini skirt and some wedges! It just hasn’t warmed up quite yet, so I am patiently waiting to bring out the shorts.

Let me know if you all would like me to write any more specifics on this topic! I’d love to hear from you what you’ve found is the best and cheapest way to get to a destination.

XOXO,

Autumn

Weekend Fun!

A little glimpse into our weekends and fun adventures.

Yellow TopHigh Rise White Shorts

We finally had some really nice weather this weekend, so being a FL girl, I was so excited about the weather!! I swear I am destined to live on a beach all day everyday. Something about the warm weather makes me excited and more energetic!

Since it was a nice weekend, we got out on Friday afternoon and went to one of our favorite places, the C & O Canal. It’s a beautiful old canal that now has a towpath that you can walk and ride bikes. You can even rent bikes from them there and in the summer they do canal boat rides. I love biking so much, so it was definitely a fun day!

We then headed for ice cream, well ice cream for my hubby at bruster’s. I haven’t blogged about it yet, but I am gluten and dairy free. So ice cream is no bueno for me, except on the occasion when I want to just go for it at an organic ice cream place. So…we ended up stopping at the grocery store for one of my favorite ice cream bars. It’s a brand called So Delicious and they have the best dairy free ice cream bars! My favorite is the almond milk mocha fudge bars. Definitely try them if you are eating dairy free!

Also, check out my yellow top in the pictures! I found this cute thing at Francesca’s for $38. They are having a big sale this weekend, so grab those spring shirts and dresses now! For sizing reference, I am wearing an XS. They are doing a buy one get two 40% off. I linked the shirt above and some shorts that look similar to mine from Target. I am wearing a size 2 in the shorts.

Also, we ordered The Greatest Showman a month back and got it on Tuesday. We seriously love that movie SO much! I swear I could watch a bunch of times, so if you haven’t seen it yet, definitely check it out!

Hope you all enjoy this weekend and the nice weather!

XOXO,

Autumn

What I love about the weekends

I love the weekends mostly because it means relaxation and adventuring with my husband! This weekend we ventured to Hobby Lobby for a while and man have I ever felt tired leaving a store. You could spend hours in there looking around at furniture and home decor there.

We are starting to look for houses and are dreaming about the style we want for it already. So thanks to Hobby Lobby, it gave us some really great ideas. I also found this cute letter board I am holding in these pictures. Check it out below!

My husband is always great at surprising me, so we ventured to our favorite coffee shop on Friday afternoon for a nice afternoon date. I definitely recommend Big Oak Cafe if you live in the Chambersburg, PA area. They have a chocolate fondue which I have yet to try, but they have the best lattes and coffee.

We currently still have snow on the ground, even though it’s spring. So I always have a difficult time figuring out what to wear. However, I found this cute top from H&M for $15 that I love wearing during this awkward season. It’s a comfy shirt that can be worn with a sweater over top or without. Here I am wearing it with my favorite comfy sweater from Francesca’s for $30 and my jeans from Banana Republic. I linked the clothes below.

Hopefully you all are enjoying your spring and can still get out and enjoy doing things with your family and friends! Have a great weekend!
